The Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens
The Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Greek: Ωδείο Ηρώδου του Αττικού) also called Herodeion or Herodion; Greek: Ηρώδειο) is a stone Roman theater structure located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. The building was completed in 161 AD and then renovated in 1950.
The program includes music, dance, theatrical performances and special evenings, and other events.
Famous artists from Greece and all over the world have performed at the Herodion.
